After a reinstall - this is what I get, I have tried downloading new copy from the website, after a clean install - same issue:

I just did a test of the activation process and there seems to be a problem. Will post something as soon as it is fixed.

Update: I've been running some tests, and have found that about 75% of the time the activation completes successfully. The rest of the time it gives me the same results you are getting. I still haven't found the cause of the problem. I would recommend re-trying periodically. Maybe you can get a successful activation before I find the cause of the problem.

Another suggestion is to try
web activation.
