Force Feed Back Strength

Could you please let me know if there is any way to increase the Force Feed back effects using a MSFF2 in the flying mode? What I mean specificaly is when the plane is in a dive or high g turn, is there better setting then just the 100% resistance in your profiles. The other aspects of this product work well enough after some setting changes but the max resistance seems weak. I know this stick can handle more force feed back inputs which would be nice to feel. I have all the properties of the stick set at max.

Also I have noticed that some planes work better then others. An example of this would be to compare the Caranado Bonanza with the Dream Fleet Cardinal. The Bonanza has lots of effects and the
Cardinal is minimal. Is there a reason for this?

I would agree about the level of in-flight forces. The pavement and ground effects are awesome, especially at complex settings, but I would like more feedback in the air.
I have added some damping, and I understand friction can be increased. I would like to feel more resistance in a fast roll, or dive recovery. Would more friction help that?
Some slight engine vibration would be sweet as well. Loving it so far though.

Remember that centering force is strictly a function of airspeed. Try going into the profile manager and editing one of the profiles. Set the graph up for 100% at a certain airspeed, and use the virtual aircraft to test the centering force. Then go into FS and do the same. Are the forces as strong in one as the other?

Also, make sure your forces are at max in Game Controllers > Properties. You may want to install the 4.0 MSFF2 software.

It should be the same for all aircraft, assuming they use the same profile. If you are noticing differences, try doing a flight with one, and then the other, and then examine the log file (logfile.txt, in the folder you installed to). It's normal to see a few errors per flight, but if you see lots and lots, that indicates a problem.

More than a couple of times I've seen problems like this caused by old, incompatible video drivers. Try updating yours and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the tips on setting up forces. After increasing forces in MSFF2 sw v4.0 control panel, and playing with the virtual aircraft in the edit profile screen, all is great. What an improvement over the MS defaults!
