I use this tool since FSX and never got any trouble, I have installed under Win7pro/64bit FSX stem edition(installed without fsx so fsx old logic folder) and P3Dv4.
The other day I attach an xcontroller F710 and I don't know why but the q400 got messup with key and axis.
So I rebuild the Standard.XML of P3dv4 and fixed the problem but FSforce loose the connection with the GUID of my Cyborg Evo Force.
So uninstall the fsforce and reintall it, but I got strange error on the procedure of installing it.
The installation in any case go ahead by installing the software there is a mistake on adding the xml line on the exe.xml of FSX.
When you open the profile manager there is this error.
If I add manually the code, it dosen't matter I still getting the error, but in the mean time I notice that it broke the exe.xml file by adding a blank line after </SimBase.Document>.

The XML code in your 'exe.xml' file is malformed, and the FS Force installer can't work with it. XML files are simple text files, so you can open it and look on line 41 to see where the error is. Based on the message, there is probably a missing </Launch.Addon> tag. If you can't fix it yourself, post the contents of the exe.xml file here and I will have a look at it.

Really sorry you are right the logitech plugin messup the EXE.xml not closing a </Launch.Addon> I am using Notepad++ end normally with color it show error.

I think I speack to early, now after boot p3dv4 I got:
but in FSForce Profile I can set trim and brake button!
on FSForce.cfg there is a guid of a joystick the only think that puzzle me is, the P3D controller list there is a FFB5 instead of saitek cyborg evo as metion also on the FSForce Profile.

Re: Error reading EXE.XML
Go into P3D settings, under controllers, there are 2 input types: DirectInput and RawInput. What is yours set at? If it is RawInput, change it to DirectInput.
