Question on assigning trim wheel and yoke.

Hi Russ,
I am new to your excellent program only having received my Iris flight yoke the other day. Up until now I have been using FSUIPC to assign aileron, elevator, trim, rudder, brakes, throttle etc. For the most part I have been trying to figure out how to assign the Saitek Trim Wheel. I assigned the trim wheel in FSUIPC but have also seen there is a selection to assign the trim system in the profile editor to use FS Force. I haven't felt the force on the elevator soften (centering force) when the aircraft is trimmed just like a real aircraft, so I must be doing something wrong.
Should I assign the yoke in the Prepar3D v3.4 controls menu or in FSUIPC? I have been searching the net for posts and I have read through the FS-Force Help .htm pages.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Regards,
Robert
