FS FORCE

I downloaded the latest FS-Force 2.9 today to update my existing system from 2.8. The install seemed to go well e.g. the files seemed to have copied. However near the end, the attached warning box was displayed twice. After this, it prompts for completing the setup and things seem to be OK. Should I be concerned?

Subsequent testing of Profile Manager is that it seems to work.

Subsequent testing of FSForce (i.e. by clicking on FSForce.EXE in its directory) is that it displays the error twice and then nothing. Copying the .DLL from system32 to this install directory makes no difference.

Launching FSX causes (a) the usual registration (do you want to always run software from Dirks Software? - which registered first time (woohoo - remember those problems Russ?) and then (b) generated the system error as before once.

The VC++ 2013 Redistributable package seems to be either missing or corrupted on your system, which is strange because FSX installs it by default, so FS Force just assumes that it's already there. Hopefully the fix should be as easy as ...

Download an install the VC++ 2013 Redistributable package. Make sure to download and install both the 32 bit version (vcredist_x86.exe) and the 64 bit version (vcredist_x64.exe)
Reboot your computer
Reinstall FS Force
