Hi
i just bought fsforce last week and wow what a great program!
i have a question regarding the 737ngx autopilot (i use FSX) i own the iris flight yoke and the fsforce iris yoke addon how can i turn on the autopilot?? i cant get it to connect
... do i have to edit something? the autopilot on small aircraft do work but not on the NGX i know it has its own autopilot code.. i search the forum and google but i cant seem to find an answer on this issue im having. (im also having this problem with the airbus X 319)

Hi. The autopilot follow feature is only guaranteed to work with aircraft that use the default FSX autopilot. As you mentioned, the 737ngx uses its own custom autopilot, so it FS Force is not able to sync with it.

thanx for the reply i spoke with kyle from iris and he direct me to you regarding this issue ... i dont mind if the autopilot follow is not working at the moment BUT my main concern is that i cant get the autopilot to engage ever since i got the fsforce wich for long flights or even short is essential... maybe it has to do with the trim? i have it on fsforce trim only...do i keep the trim bottons on fsx sim? or delete them? do you know if anyone else that uses the ngx are able to engage the autopilot normally using fsforce?

How are you attempting to engage the AP? Kotkey, or mouse click? If Hotkey, have you made sure that the hotkey does not conflict with any hotkeys defined in FS Force? Are you able to engage the AP with mouse clicks?

Go into Addons / FSForce / Trim System, and set it to FSX. If that fixes the problem, create a special profile just for that aircraft, and set its trim system option to FSX. That way you don't always have to do it in the Addons menu.

Hi, I don't know if your problem has already been resolved. I used a mix of FSForce trim and FSUIPC trim (force trim is much easier on turns). When you use FSForce trim, the position of the yoke registered by the aircraft is not centred. The NG autopilot logic requires the yoke to be centred in order to engage CMD modes. You need to either deactivate 'realistic AP engagement' somewhere in the aircraft configuration on the aircraft, or you need to reset your yoke to the centre pitch position (with aid of FSUIPC/default trim) in order to be able to engage any CMD mode.

Anyone using Accu-Feel for the PMDG MD-11 and have some pointers/suggestions on the settings?
Thanks
