Hi

The trim wheel automatically assigns as:-

Event                                 Axis                Reverse
Elevator Trim axis             Trim                Unchecked

Order of controller types:-

Mouse Yoke
Mouse Look
Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick
Saitek Pro Flight Rudder pedals
Saitek x65f Flight controller (throttle only)
Pro Flight Cessna Trim Wheel
BU0836A Interface

How should I modify my config ?:-

[General]
TrimWheel= Joystick:<?>:<?>

Trimwheel trims aircraft, but does not feedback to stick like trim buttons 3 and 4 does ?

Thanks for your help

Rotor

Try :

TrimWheel=Joystick:4:Trim

If "Trim" doesn't work, try each of Slider, XAxis, YAxis, ZAxis, RxAxis, RyAxis, or RzAxis. Note you don't have to stop and restart FSX/P3D in between each try. Just stop and restart FS Force.

Cheers

Sorry, change the "4" to a "5". I was originally looking at your email, where you had the throttle device and the trim device all on one line, so I thought that was all one controller. But looking at your post above I can see that it is actually two separate controllers. With FS Force, controllers are numbered from zero.

Hi Russ

FYI, and any one using the Saitek Pro Flight Cessna Trim Wheel.

The winning combination is :- TrimWheel=Joystick:3:XAxis (I guess the the Joystick Number will vary depending on your set up. FS force and other applications does not recognise Trim as an axis, FSX does ?)

If you do not have FS Force, a trim wheel, and a force feedback controller, your missing out big time :-)

Enjoy
