Hi!
I am considering purchase of an FFB joystick for use with FS Force and FS9. Would like to know which FFB joysticks currently available [either new or used (eBay)], are compatible......could someone please provide a list, with comments on the pros and cons of each.
Thank you,
CK.

Supported Joysticks:
- Logitech G940
- Logitech Force 3D Pro
- Saitek Cyborg Evo Force
- Saitek Cyborg 3D Force
- Top Gun AfterBurner Force Feedback Joystick
- ThrustMaster Force Feedback Joystick
- Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2
Unsupported Joysticks:
- Saitek X52
- Saitek X45
The best joystick that I've ever used is the MSFF2. You can't get them new anymore but you might be able to find a used on on ebay or amazon. The next best is the Logitech G940, but it is a full flight system, not just a joystick, so it's fairly expensive. Also very good are the Logitech Force 3D Pro and the Saitek Cyborg Evo Force.

Hi Russel,
Thank you for your list and comments. I found one other joystick not on your list:
Saitek Cyborg 3D Force at:

Would you know if this is also supported, and if so, how it performs?
Thanks,
CK

Yes, it's compatible as well. I've updated my list above. It's similar to the Evo and the Logitech 3D Pro
FSUIPC, FFB drivers

Thank you Russel. I have one further question. I use FSUIPC to manage joystick assignments. For this reason I have so far not installed manufacturer's drivers for any of the joysticks I have used. Would the same be possible with these FFB joysticks? My present understanding is that the FFB function of these joysticks comes from the manufacturer's drivers. That might cause conflicts with FSUIPC. Would you be able to clarify the issue for me?
Thanks,
CK.

I know for a fact the MSFF2 does not require drivers to be installed, but I'm pretty sure the other ones do. You'll have to get in touch with Pete Dowson to see how that will affect FSUIPC.
