FFB control panel configuration

Post by mork_lor » Thu Sep 24, 2009 3:02 pm

I try fs-force 2.0 demo on fsx with my saitek cyborg evo force.
I like this addon but I'm not fully satisfied .
the centering force is a bit low to trim the plane in short time. I need to much trim adjustment . I fly a real c172 and trimming is more "frendly".

I'm also thinking to remove the iron spring in my saitek . In this way I hope to avoid the spring force used in non ffb games.

to get a better result can you help me to configure the ffb in the control panel? I don't understand all the parameters ? force gain? spring force? dumping force? ........ someone can help me ??

The default centering force for most profiles is set to about 75% (see the image below). For maximum strength, edit the graph so the forces max out at 100%.

Gain just makes the forces stronger or weaker. Spring force is the centering force. Damping is a resistance to motion.

Here's the link to the online documentation for these items : http://www.fs-force.com/help2/profiles.htm

I´m using fsforce with aileron and elevator forces set to 100% at low speed. the fs force manual is very good.

my problem is the saitek control panel. no help , no manual.
how to configure it to let fsforce working in the best way?
