Now if we can only get rid of that FPS-eating ugly arm in the VC, I'd be very happy... I've got an idea for that actually, got to find the time to mess with the bitmaps a bit. Does it bother you too?
Best,
Joel

I hear you on the schedule Russ, but I must admit that I view the trim window FPS problem as more of a bug that needs to be fixed for current users rather than a feature or upgrade. I was hoping there might be something along the lines of the window guage you suggested sooner than summer. Best, Joel

Any News on Next Version?
Just wondering if there's a tentative plan for when the next version might be released, with some of the features discueed on the "wish list" forum?

Joel

Not a Feature, but a Must Do Anyway....
Hi All, Well I'm now officially a big fan of FS Force- spent the weekend finding out just how much realism and immersion this program can add to the FS experience. People who haven't tried it don't know what they're missing, and those who've dissed it on Avsim must be doing something wrong. As to pr...

Well, I guess that's my problem after all- sorry to have not realized it sooner. I guess my only question, and perhaps I should put this on the "wish list" forum, is whether there's a fix in the works? I do love the program, but to me it really is necessary to have some visual indication of my trim ...

FPS Problem- Found what it Is...
I think I misunderstood what the FPS problem related to the trim window is, please confirm for me... I originally thought you only saw a momentary FPS slowdown when the window appears if your system suffered from this. But after re-reading the comment in the instructions, I think my FPS slowdown is ...

Hi, thanks for the replies so far. I'm running XP home with Microsoft FF2, and installed the software that Russell offered a link for. Essentially I see a quick, temporary drop in FPS while banking the aircraft, but then FPS returns to normal when the stick is centered. I also see a slowdown to 19-2...

FS Force and FPS
Hi All, Well I've been trying out FS Force and love everything about it so far- except the hit it seems to make on performance for even my high-end machine (Alienware Area 51). Pre-FSforce I got steady (I mean steady) 27-30 FPS (locked at 30) at all but heaviest airports, but since loading FS force ...

I would like to use a FF joystick along with the trim wheel that's on one of my GoFlight components- I hated to trim with keypad, quite unrealistic. So you are saying that I cannot trim a plane as I currently do (with the GoFlight wheel) and have those trim effects felt on a joystick using FSForce? ...

Trim- Does FSForce work with GoFlight Hardware?
I've heard good things about the trim capability of FSforce, but would like to know if it works with the trim wheel on GoFlight controls?
Thanks,
Joel
